Remote Assistance with D-Link router?

I need to connect to my computer at home which is behind a D-Link 624 airplus xtreme G wireless router (the pc is using a wired connection)
Another thing, I want to avoid request sending. I want to be able to access my computer from any other computer i use.
How do i find out the complete ip address which i will type in on any other computer to get me connected to mine?
and
How do i exactly need to configure my computer to automatically allow all the requests?
One last question, is there any other setting of SP2, windows firewall or Zone Alarm Security Suite that i need to configure so that they will allow the connection ?
Questions about wireless router signals (dangerous or not?)?

My Linksys Wireless-G 2.4ghz router sits on the floor of my room in the corner. My head is in the adjacent corner only about 5 or 6 feet away, but a foot or two more elevated.
My question is: Is this dangerous like they say cell phone radiation is, or is it safe to keep it on at all times? I have no security settings like a WEP or WAP and cannot change any settings because I do not have the password (I got the router used and the original owner forgot the password…). I’m not really worried about hackers though.
What I am worried about is the harmful radiation that could be emanating from the router (and are the 2 alarm clock/radios I have dangerous even when they aren’t searching for wireless signals?)
I suppose I COULD switch everything to wired but that’ll be more expensive and a lot less convenient. Not to mention a lot of work rewiring my entire setup…
So what do you recommend? I need professional opinions please… Is this as dangerous as a cell phone is…? =\
Network key keeps defaulting to original setting?

I have a laptop that just won’t change the NETWORK KEY. My pc my other laptop changes but the third laptop computer refuses to change. I have unistalled the network card and USB wireless driver put in the changed network key and soon as i hit ok it defaults back to the old default. I have even selected manual install but still goes back to it’s old ways. What is going on there must be something i am missing ?Is there an alternative to changing my router security? Can i use zone alarm to prevent people piggy backing onto my cable? I am using XP OS
Suddenly my wireless disconnects at home only; fine away! my alarm system cant call out either. related?

I’ve had the wireless set up several years, with no issues. Suddenly, I keep getting bumped off on the two wireless computers, but the hardwired computer is fine. My alarm system has trouble calling out because of interference on the line. I can “fix” the alarm problem by getting a wireless phone, but this won’t fix my sudden wireless computer issues. This only happens at home — when I go to Starbucks, the wireless works great. The computer icon says I am connected with great signal strength, but when I right-click and look at available networks, it says none are in range (but the modem lights are all working fine). When I reboot it works again. This is happening about once an hour now. Also, sometimes I can see that the signal is temporarily lost (the green waves from the computer icon turn yellow) but it resolves itself before it disconnects (just suspends what I am doing and is annoying). The laptop (closer to the moden) is worse than the desktop. All suggestions welcome!
I need help with creating a network for a small home?

have virgin cable broadband which is currently connected to the N1 Wireless Router (Part # F5D8231uk4).
Every PC in the house (7 PC’s) are going to have a Gigabit Desktop Network PCI Card which will have a cat6 patch cable into the cat6 wall socket, each wall socket is cabled with cat 6 cable, all cabling goes to a 24port patch panel. The patch panel is sat next to the wireless router.
There are a few other things to connect to the wired network such as the Xbox 360 and a network camera for security in the garage.
Obviously the N1 router only has 4 ports.
So what is the best way to connect everything together?
I already have:
cat 6 cabling (all fitted)
N1 Wireless Router (Part # F5D8231uk4) this will still be used for the laptops
24 port patch panel
I need:
a way to connect the patch panel to the network and the internet (16 port (or more) switch? or router?)<£100 <more if necessary
a wired network camera (was thinking of Panasonic BL-C1 suggestions welcome)<£70 <more if necessary
Gigabit Desktop Network PCI Card (was thinking of Belkin Part # F5D5005ea suggestions welcome)£15 <more if necessary
I need to know how to connect everything a picture drawn would be cool
and suggestions for each device i need and why you think that is the best options if you think i need to spend more or less on each item just say what you recommend.
How do I block or jam hpsetup? It is interfering with my wireless camera?

Does anyone know how I can jam the hpsetup
unsecured computer-to computer network? I do not have an hp printer and my wireless card is turned off. The challenge is that I still keep seeing this hpsetup under wireless networks and it is interfering with my wireless security camera.
Again, the wireless on my computer is disconnected, but the signal for hpsetup, which is not a signal from my home or from my neighbor’s, is making my camera not work properly. Does anyone have any advice to make sure that this signal does not enter my house? Thank you!
I have a wireless router in my home. Will it interfere with my alarm system that communicates wirelessly?

It only communicates with the doors and the windows, and calls via landline if someone is breaking in. Will these two systems interfere with one another.
My wireless router is through verizon and my alarm system is ADT. Thanks!
How Wi-Fi Smart are you?

I have 2.4ghz wireless security cameras in my home that interfere with my wireless belkin router. I don’t have the option to monitor the security cameras on my computer and really don’t want to. Can the frequency be changed on the router, what other options do I have, what can I do?
