===Wireless security camera?

I am looking for a wireless security camera system (3-4 cameras). It must be color, not 2.4GHz (because I have 2.4GHz router, it may interfere).
Anyone have any recommendation for it?
My goal is to be able to monitor my house while I away (at work) and able to see it online and records it to my computer hard drives.
How would one–in theory–go about getting free internet service by accessing my neighbour’s secure wi-fi?

Though I’m not sure which neighbour it is, I’m certain they work hard for their money and would not want to suffer the teensiest, tiniest, nearly unnoticable loss of bandwidth by sharing their wireless connection with anyone else, even when the hour of day suggests they themselves are not using it at all. I will rest easier once I discover an easy way one might leech oneself onto their service and get free internet access, allowing me to blanket the neighborhood with flyers advising this unknown character of this weakness in their security. It would be particularly alarming if their were some handy, convenient key-gen program available which would make it easy for someone to gain access, even if they, much like myself, had only a limited knowledge of computers.
I know what your thinking: wouldn’t any good christian gladly share with a neighbour, us all being brothers? Yes, of course they would, but we must respect their decision, however misguided, to prevent access to others, however needy or well-meaning.
Need a home security system?

Hi there,
Recently I am having my house and car vandalized by people of my friendly neighborhood. I want a security system that has night vision cameras and audio if possible. I want it to download to my laptop, wireless if possible.
So I was wondering if anyone knew any brands or could recommend other things I may need.
Thanks in advance,
DH
Does anyone out there know about surveillance camera systems?

Hi,
I want to set up a wireless security camera monitor system for my house. What and what do I need to do this. I want a system that is pretty much hidden, uneasily detectable, possibly stuck in the ceiling or wall and if possible inviscible and wireless. What and what equipments do I need to achieve this. What do I need to buy? Can I use my present computer monitor for this or do I need a special kind of monitor. I guess this is a technical question for computer oriented guys. Please recommend the cheapest you know. Thanksbb

Why did Comodo bust my net?

I recently installed Comodo Internet Security, I did so because Zone Alarm was conflicting with utorrent and this program came highly recommended. During installation of the firewall kernel driver the installation process appeared to freeze, it got stuck with the progress bar at some 1/4 of the way there. At this point my internet cut out, I am connecting to the net wirelessly via a netgear router located the floor below me in the house. I eventually found I had no choice but to reboot, upon which the problems persisted. I tried the installatio process again, this time completely uninstalling and removing zone alarm before proceeding with the installation (I thought Comodo had done this automatically as the wizard prompts kind of suggested it was going to). This time the program installed fine and comodo is running apparently fine except that it is completely useless to anyone as I cannot connect to the internet, I can see the name of my network in the wireless connections network manager but when I try to connect to it, it says connection unsuccessful. Oddly enough every time I’ve tried connecting since it’s been necessary to disconnect from the wireless network that vista would have me believe I was never able to connect to in the first place. The little red cross remains on the double computer icon in the system tray regardless of this, even when the network manager says “connected with limited access”. Seeings how I’m on the internet now on my eeepc on that very network I can’t figure out why this is happening and as Comodo is freshly installed, there are no settings or preferences for any programs or services or anything and it would seem odd to me if the firewall by default blocked the routine which allowed windows to connect in any case.
Anyone think they can shed any light?
I use windows firewall for my Vista OS and avast as antivirus, good enough?

I’ve already tried Norton 360 (which I uninstalled after paying $50 - not sure if they’ll restore it for me - but I DID pay for the full year) - then tried Zone Alarm - slowed down my browsing too much - then tried Avast, which lets me browse pretty quickly (as antivirus). Now I use the default Windows Firewall (I have Vista) and the Avast for the antivirus…is this enough?
Tell me what I need, guys - so many scams and free downloads that r not really free and all that BS! I know NOTHING about internet security except that https is more secure than just an http site. That’s about it! I use WAP Personal for my wireless connection and I use Google Chrome as browser. I do plan to do a lot of cc transactions to pay for 3 or 4 bills and for internet banking (check posts and balances) and to buy stuff from Amazon and Fandango movie tickets, etc…how safe am I?
